A Mariya é fotógrafa, formada em arte e especialista em pós-produção, com um olhar sensível e precisão estética.

Juntos, damos vida à Ricardo & Mary Pictures, um estúdio que combina o olhar cinematográfico com a elegância editorial e a autenticidade dos sentimentos reais.

Cada casal é único, e cada história pede o seu próprio ritmo, luz e emoção. Por isso, o nosso estilo não é fixo: é moldado por quem vocês são.

I was born in Ukraine, in the city of Chernivtsi. 

Art, music and aesthetics have always been part of who I am. Still, my path began in medicine, a field that taught me to observe people, emotions and the beauty hidden in small details.

When I moved to Portugal, a new world opened before me. It was here that I met Ricardo, a filmmaker who shares not only my life but my passion for creating. Together we built our dream, first Beyond Creative, and now Ricardo & Mary Pictures.

Since then, I’ve devoted myself to professional photography and artistic retouching, refining both my technical craft and emotional vision.

Through my work, I seek to capture the lightness of the heart, moments that feel alive, honest and full of energy. I love photographing families with tenderness, and weddings with freedom, no stiff poses, no templates.

My greatest ally is creative storytelling, images that breathe life, naturality and the magic of the moment.

Above all, I believe photography should spread love and remind us that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

From heart to heart, that’s how I live and create. Today, together with Ricardo, I’m living my dream: to celebrate love, connection and the beauty that exists between people and the world.

I was born in Portugal, in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha. 

From an early age, sound and image became my language. I graduated in Sound and Image, specialising in multimedia and visual effects, fields that opened the door to a universe where light, sound and emotion come together to tell stories and create worlds.

For over a decade, I’ve worked across photography, cinema and audiovisual production, from documentaries and interviews to music videos, brand films and weddings.

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with renowned brands and institutions, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, experiences that refined both my technical craft and artistic vision, and taught me the true power of visual storytelling.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Mariya and I founded Beyond Creative — a production house focused on premium photography and film for brands. Later, we created Ricardo & Mary Pictures — a more personal and emotional project, born from our shared passion for love and human connection.

I believe every couple has their own rhythm, energy and essence, and that’s what guides my work. Every film I create is unique, just like the people behind it.

My purpose is to go beyond simple documentation: to craft films that move, inspire and endure — because true love deserves to be told with soul and cinematic artistry.
